The 2015 Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Lincolnwood Police Department Fraternal Order of Police will be held on Saturday, April 4 at 9 a.m. at Proesel Park in the area behind the Lincolnwood Fire Department building. The Easter Bunny will arrive aboard the Lincolnwood Fire Truck. The egg hunt is for children ages 2 to 11 grouped by age and must be accompanied by an adult. After the hunt, children and families can have their pictures taken with the Easter bunny. Refreshments will be available before the activities. On Monday, March 23 motorists should park on the side of the street with odd addresses. On Tuesday, March 24 motorists should park on the side of the street with even addresses.
Crawford Avenue construction will resume on Wednesday, March 18. Initially, driveways and sidewalks on the east side of the street between Lincoln Avenue and Devon Avenue will be restored. This work will require rolling lane closures for northbound traffic and is dependent upon the weather.
