The Lincolnwood Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 beginning at 10:20 a.m. The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for community groups to participate in the parade and festivities hosted by the Village of Lincolnwood and American Legion Post #1226. This is an incredible way to reach out to the Lincolnwood community while celebrating a very special day by honoring those who served our country. Please contact Melissa Rimdzius at email@example.com or (847) 677-9740 if you are interested in participating or have questions. For more information, please see the attached press release.
On May 22, 2015 at 3:30 p.m., the Village will be holding its annual tree planting in one of the community’s 13 parks. This year, the Village’s Beautification Task Force selected a hornbeam to be planted in Centennial Park, located at 6801 McCormick Blvd. in Lincolnwood. Join Mayor Turry and community representatives.
