Effective March 1, 2017, Skokie will begin providing E9-1-1 services to Lincolnwood residents and businesses. After March 1 when you call 9-1-1, the call will be answered at the Skokie Police Station. They will then dispatch the appropriate Lincolnwood emergency police and/or fire response personnel to handle your call. To learn more about next week’s transition, please click here .

The Village of Streamwood is calling all local artists to apply for their upcoming Art Appreciation of the World event on Saturday, April 22 at Poplar Creek Library. The event, now in its ninth year, drew hundreds last year to view the work of 30 different artists. Applications must be in by Friday, March 10.
