Last week the Mayor’s Public Safety Advisory Group welcomed the Chicago Police Department’s former First Deputy Superintendent John Escalante. Escalante, who is now the Chief of Police for Northeastern Illinois University, spoke to the Group on public safety initiatives, including the importance of visibility in crime prevention tactics.

All are invited to Lincolnwood’s first ever Art Around the World event on September 9, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the promenade in front of Village Hall. Attendees can look forward to food truck offerings and games for children in addition to art for purchase.
