1st July 2015
On Saturday, July 25, the Village will be hosting a recycling event that will include Electronics Recycling, Document Shredding, and a Salvation Army donation truck. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the large parking lot south of Rutledge Hall at the corner of Pratt Avenue and East Prairie Road.
Residents that live in a SWANCC member community are able to take part in this collection event. IDs will be checked for proof of residency. Unfortunately, no electronics or documents will be accepted from businesses or schools. Per state law, electronics cannot be disposed of with the weekly trash collection, so this event is a good opportunity to get rid of old televisions, computers, and other items. For a full list of items that will be accepted, please click here. Additional recycling options can be found at www.swancc.org
11th June 2015
All Lincolnwood residents and the business community are invited to provide important input on the future of the Village by attending a public meeting on Thursday, June 11, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. The Village has hired Houseal Lavigne Associates, LLC to assist in this process, and the firm has created a website for residents and the business community at hplanning.com/portals/lincolnwood. The portal features a survey, interactive map to determine challenges and opportunities in the community, and comments for upcoming community workshops.
