LOW INCOME ASSISTANCE

The Village of Lincolnwood provides assistance for low income residents that paid utility or telecommunication taxes and who meet the income limits.  The Village of Lincolnwood will rebate the 5% municipal tax found on your gas, electric and telephone utility bills.

 Please complete the utility tax rebate application and submit your completed application to the Finance Department with copies of required documentation.

  Required documentation is as follows for all household members:

• Copy of IRS 1040 , 1040 A or 1040 EZ form.
• Copy of IL - 1363 Circuit Breaker for residents 65 or older.
• Copies of all utility bills.

 Utility Tax rebate applications are available at Village Hall.  

Applications for the 2007 filing year will be available February 1, 2008.
