Sidewalk Replacement Program

Each year Village staff surveys the community for dangerous or hazardous public sidewalks. A list is compiled and sidewalks are targeted for replacement. This program is 100% Village funded. The program was developed to ensure that the most dangerous and hazardous sidewalks within the Village are replaced on an annual basis.

Approximalty 60,000 sq ft. of sidewalk was replaced during 2009. The 2010 program will begin again during the summer of 2010. If you believe your sidewalk presents a hazard, please contact the Public Works Department at 847-675-0888.
