ANIMAL CONTROL

Animal control is a service provided to the residents of Lincolnwood, in an attempt to control the wild animal population. The Village of Lincolnwood has contracted Animal Control Specialists, Inc.  an outside service to trap these animals which may be a nuisance or problem.  The company when contacted by the Village will perform inspections of the frontyard, backyard and under porches to identify the type of animal that could be causing the problem and they will set the appropriate trap for that animal.  Traps are checked daily by Animal Control Specialists trained staff, any trapped animals are then removed from the trap.  Our Animal Control Specialists contract covers only certain nuisance or problem animals. They will never enter the home (or on the roof) when a service call is placed by the Village, problem animals in the home will be the responsibility of the home owner.

Animals covered under the Village of Lincolnwood contract are as follows:

• Skunk
• Opossum
• Raccoon
