Updated registration information will be posted in late spring.  Information below is for the 2012 race.

Lace up your running shoes and join us for the 36th annual Lincolnwood Turkey Trot!  This CARA Certified 5K/10K race and 5K fitness walk takes you through scenic Lincolnwood, featuring a flat, fast course perfect for novice as well as experienced runners and walkers.  For our youngest athletes (10 years of age and under), the Drumstick Dash will be the perfect way to round out this historic running event!   

A portion of the proceeds will help support the Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation Department scholarship fund which provides financial assistance to families struggling to cover the costs associated with summer camp, after school programming, childcare and other youth programs and events.

Start/Finish - Proesel Park, 7055 Kostner Avenue (Near Proesel Park Family Aquatic Center)

• $30 by November 2 at 5pm; $35 after November 2 at 5pm and Race Day

• $12 by November 2 at 5pm; $15 after November 2 at 5pm and Race Day

Registration Options & Online Registration Directions

You may register in one of four ways for the Turkey Trot:  1) in person Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm in the Parks and Recreation Department office (6900 N. Lincoln Avenue in Village Hall), 2) via fax (847) 673-4413, 3) via USPS (Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation Department, 6900 N. Lincoln Avenue, Lincolnwood, IL 60712), 4) online with Active.com.

We are pleased to be partnering with Active.com for online registration!  Simply click here to access the Lincolnwood Turkey Trot registration information.  You will be registered in no time!  Please note: there is an additional processing fee added to all online registrations.  On-line registration closes at 5PM on Friday, November 16!  We accept cash and check only on Race Day.

Packet Pick-Up

Race packets will be available for pick-up in the Parks and Recreation office located at 6900 N. Lincoln Avenue as follows:

• • Thursday & Friday, November 15 & 16 from 10am-7pm
  • Saturday, November 17 from 9am-Noon
  • Race Day (look for Packet Pick-Up signs) from 6:30-8:30am

Age Divisions

9 years and under, 10-14 years, 15-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70-79 years, 80 years and better

Awards

Moisture wicking long sleeve running shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered runners and walkers (Drumstick Dash participants receive a long sleeve cotton t-shirt).  All adult shirts will be men's sizes; ladies, you may want to size down.  Trophies awarded for 1st - 3rd place finishers in each age division, male and female, in each race.  Awards and turkeys are given to the top male and female Lincolnwood finisher in each race.  Awards are also given to each male and female overall winner in each race. 

Don't Forget the Raffle!

Please bring a non-perishable food item to be included in the post-race raffle for a chance to win fabulous prizes!  All non-perishable food items and a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Niles Township Food Pantry.  Get in the spirit and donate what you can to help those less fortunate in the area!

Free Parking

Free parking is available in the Republic Bank, Concentra Primary Care and Lincolnwood Produce parking lots and along side streets not on the race route where parking restrictions are not listed.  Parking is prohibited on Lincoln, Morse and Kostner Avenues.
