The Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation department manages 13 parks, an aquatics center, 5,038 square foot community center and two bike paths. The Department also offers a wide variety of programs and events including aquatics, fitness, summer camps, after-school programs, athletics, outdoor recreation and special events. Join our email list to be notified of our upcoming events and programs!

Register now for My First Marathon for kids ages 5-12. Kids will run the final 1.2 miles together on the Valley Line Trail on Oct. 7. Previous miles logged can be counted toward the goal.

Lincolnwood Turkey Trot is November 19, 2017

Lincolnwood Turkey Trot registration is now open! Register now for our early bird rate (special rate ends Oct. 6)

Put on your costume and head out to “Pumpkins in Proesel Park” on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 1-3pm.

Fall Program Registration is open. Register now for fall fitness and after school programs.

Get strong with one of our adult fitness classes.

View a map of regional bike paths with connection points for the North Shore Channel Trail, Sauganash Trail Park, Skokie Valley Trail, Union Pacific Bicycle Path, and Valley Line Trail.

Join the Multicultural Task Force

New Members Welcome! The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking members for the Multicultural Task Force. The mission of the Task Force is to reach out to members of the many ethnic communities represented in Lincolnwood to gather input regarding recreation programs, services, facilities and publicity.
