Parks and Recreation


The Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation department manages 13 parks, an aquatics center, 5,038 square foot community center and two bike paths. The Department also offers a wide variety of programs and events including aquatics, fitness, summer camps, after-school programs, athletics, outdoor recreation and special events.

Latest News & Events

Non-resident Aquatic Center passes may be purchased online until May 1 at 5 pm. Beginning Tuesday, May 2, any available passes can be purchased in our office.

The Lincolnwood Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 29 at 10:20 AM. The parade steps off from the corner of Pratt and Cicero.

Extended hours: our office will be open until 7 pm each Tuesday night in May to help with aquatic center passes, camp registration, and more.

Register now for Lincolnwood Summer Day Camp to guarantee a summer of fun for kids ages 3 – 15.

Our “Best Friends Walk” Community Dog Walk in Centennial Park on April 30 HAS BEEN CANCELLED due to weather. Please stay tuned for a new date/time for this event.

Resident reservations are now available for the Proesel Park Picnic Shelter. Non-resident reservations begin Thursday, June 1.

Get soccer fit with the Lincolnwood International Soccer Academy’s Spring Soccer Clinic for ages 5-14.

Check out the 2017 Summer Concert Series Lineup performer and activity lineup. Thursday night concerts begin June 8.

New Members Welcome! The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking members for the Multicultural Task Force. The mission of the Task Force is to reach out to members of the many ethnic communities represented in Lincolnwood to gather input regarding recreation programs, services, facilities and publicity.
