Join the free community fitness initiative that encourages you to commit to walking 30 minutes a day for health and wellness. Stop by the Parks & Recreation office to pick up your free GO LINCOLNWOOD walking log and start tracking your success or pick one up at any of our GO LINCOLNWOOD events throughout the year. Completed your walking for a month? Print additional walking logs.

Take GO LINCOLNWOOD to the next level with the Lincolnwood Turkey Trot 5K Fitness Walk

If you started the GO LINCOLNWOOD community fitness initiative this summer, you may be ready to ramp up your walking goals with the 5K Fitness Walk at the Lincolnwood Turkey Trot on November 19. Not sure if you’re ready? According to Prevention magazine, if you can walk 15 minutes at a pace at which your breathing is labored but you’re still able to speak, you’re ready to train for a 5K.
