This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Municipal Campus “Village Hall.”  Located on the east-side of Proesel Park, Lincolnwood’s Village Hall was dedicated in November of 1991. Its unique prairie design was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and was designed to blend into the scenic park situated to the west of Village Hall.

Centrally located within the community, Village Hall serves as the home for the Fire Department, Community Development Department, Police Department, Finance Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and the Village Manager’s Office.

To commemorate the occasion, the Village will be hosting an event on Thursday, September 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Promenade located between Village Hall and the Police Department.

All residents and friends of Lincolnwood are encouraged to stop by to participate in the event, which will feature a performance from the Lincolnwood Youth Orchestra. A variety of food will also be available for purchase from food trucks. Residents may contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (847) 677-9740 with any questions regarding the event.
