President Gerald Turry

Jerry served as a Village Trustee from 1995 until May, 2005 when he was elected as Village President. During his tenure as Trustee, he served as the chairman of the Streets & Alleys Committee, the liaison to the Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals, a member of the Police, Licenses and Health Committee and Committee on Ordinances, Rules and Building (CORB). Jerry is the Board liaison to the Beautification and Telecommunications Committees. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University, Chicago, Master’s Degree in education from Indiana University. He is formerly the Dean of Students, Director of Math & Science and Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Drivers Education at Niles West High School (retired in 1998). Jerry is the recipient of numerous awards in the field of education. Presently, he is an account representative with Chicago Packaging Company and is an avid cyclist. Turry and his wife, Nancy, have three grown children and have resided in Lincolnwood since 1986. Email at:
