Each year, the Village earns the designation as a “Tree City” from the Arbor Day Foundation as recognition for the work it has done in enhancing and protecting the urban forest. The annual Mother-Son Bingo Night event will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Lincolnwood Fire Station (6900 N. Lincoln Ave.). This fun event for boys ages 4-12 accompanied by their mother or other adult caregiver features a night of bingo, prizes and a dinner that includes pizza, dessert and beverages. There will also be plenty of opportunities for photo-ops as the boys get to try on firefighter gear and take pictures with the fire trucks.
