Branch Removal Service

As of July 15, 2007 the Public Works Department no longer accepts requests for branch removal services from trees on private property.  Instead, residents may dispose of wood debris free of charge through Groot's yard waste service.  Groot will accept branches at the curb every Monday from March 15 through the first Monday in December per the following regulations:

            · Branches are 4 inches or less in diameter

            · Branches are 4 feet or less in length

            · Branches are tied together in bundles less than 60 pounds

You can contact Groot at 847-734-6400 for more information concerning their yard waste program.  Please note that Public Works will continue to collect branches at the curb following major storm events.
