Summer Camp COVID-19 Updates
The 2021 Summer Day Camp program will adhere to any COVID-19 restrictions that apply. The guidelines and restrictions are very fluid and the following activity restrictions may change at any given time. Any changes will be communicated prior to implementation.
Each week we will bring entertainers and on-site field trips that follow the weekly camp themes.
Camp will include recreational swim time at the aquatic center at least once per week. As guidelines evolve for swimming pool capacity, our team will continue to work to find additional swim time for the children in the camp program.
Swim lessons at the aquatic center are being offered before camp hours this year. Campers who register for swim lessons will be checked in at the aquatic center and then walked to camp with staff at the end of their lesson. Once the swim lesson schedule is available, our team will share it with all camp families.
Tennis lessons through E-Town Tennis are being offered after camp hours this year. Further information will be made available in the 2021 summer brochure.
Teen & Preschool Camp
An ongoing interest list has been developed for families who would like to register a child for a camp that serves 3 to 4-year-olds or sixth through eighth-graders. To join this list visit the online registration site. If additional space within the community can be secured, we will strive to offer a camp option for these age groups. Specialty camps are also available for youth up to age 13.
Masks at Camp
The program will adhere to current mask mandates and guidelines. At this time, masks will be required. This is especially when physical distancing is not possible.
Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy playgrounds on a daily basis. Groups of campers will likely rotate through playground time, masks will be worn while on the equipment, and campers will wash/disinfect their hands before and after using the equipment. The playgrounds will remain open to the public. When possible, camp will use the playground during slow times.
