On Friday, July 27, 2018 at approximately 6:34 p.m., the Lincolnwood Police Department responded to a traffic crash investigation in the 3600 block of Touhy Avenue. Officers learned that a single motorcycle had struck an adult male pedestrian and an accompanying three year old female pedestrian crossing mid-block in the eastbound traffic lanes. The police investigation indicated that the motorcycle driver had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit. Subsequently, a charge of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol was approved by the felony review unit of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
