The Cook County COVID-19 Mortgage Assistance Program is designed to help Suburban Cook County homeowners who have suffered a financial setback due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is funded by the federal Coronavirus Aid and the Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The program pays one to three months of overdue or future mortgage payments for income-eligible households. Payments will be made directly to mortgage servicers up to a total of $10,000.
