Dogs on leash are welcome at the following Lincolnwood public locations. Please be a good neighbor and pick up after your pet. Trash cans are available for disposal of pet waste.
Lincolnwood Centennial Park 6801 McCormick Blvd.
One mile-long park adjacent to McCormick Boulevard and extending from Touhy Avenue south to Devon along the North Shore Channel; a passive park featuring sculptures, and walking /jogging paths that extend the length of the park; dogs on leashes are allowed in Lincolnwood Centennial Park. This newly renovated park now includes an outdoor amphitheater, a stage that doubles as a fishing platform and an area for small craft access to the channel and a nine-hole disc golf course.
Valley Line Trail
Lincolnwood’s new Valley Line Trail is a 12 ft. wide paved path that provides cyclists and pedestrians a connection between the Valley Line Trail (Sauganash Trail) at Devon Ave. and Skokie Valley Trail to the north, with crossings at Devon Ave., Pratt Ave., and Touhy Ave. View map
Union Pacific Path
The Union Pacific Recreation Path is a multi-use path that provides connectivity for bicyclists and pedestrians between Devon and Touhy Avenues on the east side of Lincolnwood. The asphalt path is 12 feet wide with a 2 foot gravel shoulder on each side. The path was constructed on land purchased from the Union Pacific Railroad.
