42nd Annual Lincolnwood Turkey Trot

Sunday, November 19

This CARA Certified 5K and 10K chip-timed race features a flat, fast course perfect for novice as well as more experienced runners. The Turkey Trot also features a popular 5K Fitness Walk and a Drumstick Dash race for children six and younger, grouped by age. Register by October 5 at 5 p.m. to receive the early registration discount. Learn more.

Dreidel and Ornament Decorating

Paint your very own ceramic dreidel or ornament to cherish for years to come. Family members of all ages are invited to join in on the fun Tuesday, November 27 at 4PM at the Community Center – we’ll see you there! Learn more.

Holiday Treasure Hunt

Uncover some holiday fun as we hunt for hidden holiday treasures with flashlights at the Village Hall Promenade! Be sure to dress for the weather, and bring your own flashlight and sack for all the fun finds. This is event is designed for children ages 10 and younger; parents are encouraged to assist children under the age of 5.  Learn more.

We invite you to celebrate the holiday season with hot chocolate, music from Lincoln Hall’s Chorale group and the ceremonial lighting of the holiday lights. Breakfast with Santa Claus

Saturday, December 8: 10AM
Lincolnwood Community Center

Start your holiday season with a special breakfast visit from Santa! Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast (pancakes, eggs, sausage, french toast & more) at the Community Center while Santa visits your table to share holiday wishes with children. Parents will be able to take an individual photo of their child sitting with Santa, and children will also have the opportunity to write (and post) a letter to Santa and work on a holiday craft during this event. We’ll also be accepting donations of new toys for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive at this event. Holiday Cookie Crumble

Decorate a variety of festive and winter themed cookies that are sure to taste delicious on Tuesday, December 4 from 4:30PM-5:30PM at the Community Center. Each child will decorate up to ten cookies and will bring them home in a special container to share with family and friends. Kosher cookies will be available during this festive event. Learn more.
