Environmental Ad-hoc Committee

The Village encourages citizen involvement in local government, and residents fill a vital role on our many committees and commissions. The Village is searching for interested residents to apply to be on a newly created Environmental Ad-hoc Committee.  The purpose of the Environmental Ad-hoc Committee is to be an advisory board to the Village Board and provide environmental education, guidance, and advice to the Village Board and Lincolnwood community.

The Village is primarily looking for residents who may have training and/or experience in environmental science, climate change, law, education, ecology, pollution control, sustainability, engineering, transportation, or public health.  Interested residents should email Mayor Barry Bass at bbass@lwd.org.  Please include a short summary of your qualifications and why you would like to serve on this committee.
