For the second consecutive year the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra and Chicago Chopin Society join forces for “Christmas Spectacular 2017,” a gala concert performed at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence in Chicago, Sunday December 17, at 3PM. It features an International Sing-along of Carols and selections from the Messiah, with Czech mezzosoprano Edita Randova and soprano Justine Izewski.

“Christmas Spectacular 2017” will be fun for the whole family, with sing-along choruses from the Messiah and popular Christmas carols in English, Polish, and Czech. Six-year-old vocalist Penelope
Simmons makes her debut with orchestra and The Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Philip Simmons, performs popular Holiday works by Leroy Anderson, Irving Berlin, and Johnny Moss. Joining the orchestra will be pianist/composer Jaroslaw Golembiowski and harpsichordist Danuta Kuzminska.
