Please join the Village of Lincolnwood and American Legion Post #1226 for the annual Lincolnwood Memorial Day Parade. The parade will start at the corner of Cicero and Pratt Avenues at approximately 10:20 am, and then travel east on Pratt Avenue, turning north on Keeler Avenue, ending in Proesel Park at Madeleine’s Garden. Following the parade, a ceremony will take place in Madeleine’s Garden at approximately 11 am.

Children ages eight and under are invited to participate in the Memorial Day Parade on bikes, trikes, wagons or scooters decorated with a patriotic theme. All children riding in the parade must be accompanied by an adult participant, 18 years or older, and riders must wear a bike helmet. If you have questions about the bike parade, please contact Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation at 847-677-9740.

The Village would like to honor those who have served or are currently serving in the military by reading their names at the Lincolnwood Memorial Day Ceremony. If you would like us to recognize and honor a veteran or active service member who currently lives in Lincolnwood, or is a family member of a Lincolnwood resident, please email us their name, branch of service, rank and years served, and any other information you would like to include to recreation@lwd.org or call Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation at 847-677-9740 to provide us the information prior to Friday, May 24.
