Every ten years, the United States administers a Census to count every person living in the 50 states, District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories. The Census is vital as it helps to determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding will flow into communities every year for the next decade. An accurate count of Lincolnwood will help to ensure that the Village receives proper assistance for federal resources. There will be a representative from the U.S. Census speaking at the March 3, Village Board meeting providing an overview of the process and how your participation can make a difference. As always, the public is welcome to attend. If you have questions related to the Census, please contact Management Analyst Jonathan Bogue at firstname.lastname@example.org or 847-745-4711.
