On February 6, 2018, the Village President appointed an Ad-Hoc Infrastructure Committee (“Committee”) to review and provide a recommendation regarding a draft infrastructure improvement plan that was presented to the Village Board by Village staff at a workshop on November 30, 2017. The Committee met on four occasions to review the proposed improvement plan and funding model. On May 14, 2018 the Committee voted to approve the recommendation outlined in the report linked here. One June 19, 2018 the Village Board reviewed and accepted the Committee’s recommendation. Over the next 10 years, the Village will be working to make various improvements including resurfacing all of the residential streets and replacing various water mains. Staff and the Village Engineer have established a draft 10 year plan that identifies when each street and water main will be improved. This plan will be evaluated and updated on an annual basis depending on need and available funding. The draft 10 year plan dated December 14, 2018 can be found here.
