Voting Information for the Upcoming Election

On November 8, 2016, a new President will be elected.  If you wish to vote in the upcoming general election, you must be registered before October 11, 2016.  To register, you may choose one of the following: Register in Village Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday though Friday or register on the Cook County Clerk’s website at www.cookcountyclerk.com.  If you are unable to leave your home, please contact the Village Clerk at (847) 745-4707 and an arrangement will be made to assist you in registering.  Between October 12 and October 23, there is a grace period registration at the Cook County Clerk’s Office downtown Chicago and all county courthouses.  You may also register at any early voting poling place between October 24 and November 7.  The closest early voting locations are the Skokie Village Hall and Skokie Courthouse.  There is no early voting in Lincolnwood.  You may register at your polling place on Election Day, November 8.  Anyone in need of a ride to the polls on Election Day should call the Village Clerk in advance at (847) 745-4707.
