Biography

Atour Toma Sargon was first elected to the position of Trustee in 2019 and re-elected in 2023.  Atour has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a Master's degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.  She currently serves as the District Director for Cook County Commissioner Josina Morita in the 13th District. 

Atour grew up in Lincolnwood and moved back with her husband to raise their family.  They have a daughter and a son.
