The Village Board has approved a lead service line replacement program to help property owners replace their lead water service line at their convenience. Covered projects for the program include partial lead service line replacements (from the water meter or buffalo box to the connection inside the building) and full lead service line replacements (from the water main to the connection inside the building). The program provides property owners with a cost-match of 50% of the total project up to a maximum of $5,000. The costs associated with interior restoration will not be covered in this program. Program funds are limited, and the Village will fulfill requests on a first-come, first-served basis.
